Websites for Teachers
Teachers are lifelong learners. This section brings to you some excellent reading materials and webinars related to teaching and learning of mathematics. For some resources, the PDF and URLs are provided

LNS Math Resources
This website by the Literacy and Numeracy Secretariat of Ontario houses many excellent professional development resources for teachers, and brochures for parents. It is easier to have access to all these online instead of collecting print materials. Online reading is a wise ecological choice.
The Guides to Effective Instructions in Mathematics are a must read for all teachers, especially volume one which talks about Foundations of Mathematical Instructions.
Under Monographs section, you will find Capacity Building Series that are an excellent resource for quick reading as these are only eight pages each. Three that I highly recommend are:
1) Asking Effective Questions in Mathematics
2) Communicating in the Mathematics Classroom
3) Differentiating Mathematics Instruction
If you prefer watching and listening instead of reading, then the Webcasts section is ideal for you. There are 17 webcasts to choose from.
The Parent Resources section provides PDFs for Doing Math with Your Child brochure in 13 other languages besides English and French. The ABC123 link takes you to a link where you can find Reading and Writing with Your Child K - 6 brochures in the same number of languages.
