This website hosts online math lessons for elementary school and middle school students. Each animated lesson is accompanied by interactive activities at the end, and a worksheet that students complete either while watching the lesson or after viewing the lesson. There are also assessments for learning that the teachers can print and use. And if a student is away, these lessons can be viewed at home to catch up with what was missed.

Math Interactives
This website is quite an amazing multimedia resource that can be used in the classroom, or at home. The activities are designed for learning of a concept, and then exploring it. it has two different types of interactive activities, i.e., Object Interactives, and Video Interactives that focus on authentic learning. There are PDF and Word files linked to each activity which the teachers, parents or the students can use on their own. This creates a room for differentiation. A PDF for learning strategies is also linked with every activity.

Amy's Electronic Classroom

Linda's Electronic Classroom
(Grades 1 and 2)
Like Amy's classroom, Linda's classroom is also a part of TEAMS Educational Resources. In the algebra section, "Can You Balance?" activity helps them learn about balancing equations in grade one. It is certainly one of the hardest strands to succeed in for visual-kinesthetic learners if manipulatives are not used. The parent section guides them how to help and participate in the learning of their child.

Games make learning real or authentic for the learner. Please visit the Play and Learn page on this website to check the links to some great websites.
